Mad River Mountain and Aspen Ski and Board, the large Western-style ski and snowboard shop, located near Columbus, Ohio, are teaming with the Columbus Metro Parks system, to present Aspen in Wonderland.  They once again will be bringing one of the Midwest's premier pre-season rail jams to Antrim Park in the state's capital Saturday, Nov. 7.

Tons of ice, new drop-ins, new rails and features will create the excitement and plenty of product will be on hand to officially kick-off winter in the Buckeye State.  This is a session that's not to be missed.  Members of Newschoolers say it is one of the best early shred sessions in the Midwest.  ASB and the terrain park team at MRM have put their heads together for an all-day session littered with product tosses and plenty of time for aspiring riders to get some early season riding, and it's free.  Just show up.

MRM is also hosting its big Ski Patrol Ski Swap this coming weekend, Sunday, Nov. 1, at the Mountain.  Several local ski and snowboard retailers will transform the lodge into a giant ski shop stocked with lots of great deals on equipment and clothing.  The event begins at 11 a.m.  Proceeds support the local ski patrol.

MRM has teamed with Burton as Ohio's only resort participating in the Get Lifted Program.  Look for a voucher on select Burton snowboards to receive a free lift ticket for riding at Mad River.
