Jackson, Wyoming, is the party town Jan. 26-29 as it celebrates its second Winter Carnival. Music, theater, fireworks, ski races, and dog sled races all liven up a ski trip. Watch Friday night as 20 dog sled teams mush from Jackson Town Square in a five-mile stage that ends at Snow King Resort. The nine-day race begins in Jackson and ends at Park City, Utah. Meet the mushers at Snow King Resort following the race, where fireworks and a torchlight parade top off the event. King Tubes also stays open late for snow tubing. Then hit Jackson Hole Mountain Resort where the season's snowfall just topped 300 inches, nearly reaching last year's total with 10 more weeks left of the ski season.
