Heavenly at Lake Tahoe, which is looking forward to opening Nov. 20, is offering several winter lodging packages that include free night stays. Two packages also add a free day of lift tickets.
Early season skiers and riders can add on an extra day of skiing or riding to make a three-day weekend getaway with Heavenly's Ski, Stay, and Sip for Free package. The third night of lodging and the third day's lift tickets are included for free, plus a Sunday night wine tasting.
Rates start at $219 per person. A three-night stay over a Sunday night is required. The package is available Nov. 20 - 24 and Nov. 29 - Dec. 15.
The Fifth Night and Fourth Day Free package adds in one extra night lodging and one extra day skiing for free. You pay for four nights' lodging and three days of skiing to be able to add on the extras.
Rates start at $345 per person for the five-night minimum stay. The package is valid Nov. 19 - Apr. 19, with a holiday blackout period Dec. 18 - Jan. 3.
Guests who book early by Oct. 30 can also get two nights' free. Reservations must be for Nov. 29 - Dec. 15 to get a third and fourth night free. Prices start at $49 per person per day for lodging and lift tickets.
