Saas Grund will organise a special 'Kids' Week' in January when children will receive free ski equipment rentals, a ski pass, ski lessons, and even a free lunch for five days in a row.

The special Kids' Week runs from Jan. 11 to 15 and again from Jan. 18 to 22, 2010.  Advanced reservations are required and the special courses will be based at the resort's Kreuzboden area which has a number of new or improved additional attractions for children this winter.

Lunch will be taken over the five days at the restaurant Kreuzboden or at the restaurant Hohsaas. The youngest children can enjoy five days of childminding service free-of-charge at Hohsi-Nest, Kreuzboden.

For winter 2009/10, the Kinderland children's park at Kreuzboden will be renovated from top to bottom in the Sandiger Boden area. A conveyor takes the small guests to Kinderland, where young skiers will enjoy a wide range of fun-filled activities and specially designed facilities.

There's also a new freestyle fun park at Kreuzboden which has extended the existing facilities quite significantly. The small fun park will have rails and kickers designed to make a freestyler's pulse race.

Saas Grund is located below Saas Fee; both are accessible with one joint lift ticket which opens up one of Switzerland's largest and highest ski regions.
