Season passes for Kirkwood are still available for this winter and on sale through Nov. 3. Discounts are also available by bringing in new pass purchasers to Kirkwood.

Adults have an option of four different passes. The Unlimited and Premium passes grant skiing or riding all season with no blackout dates or restrictions. Unlimited passes cost $559, and premium passes cost $1,169.

The resort's 6Wood passes, which are valid for skiing or riding six days a week on Sunday through Friday, cost $259, while the 7Wood passes are good any day of the week. Both passes, however, have blackout dates. This winter those dates are Dec. 27-31, Jan. 16-17, and Feb. 13-14.

Season passes also are available for juniors, children, seniors, and college students at different rates for each age category. The Unlimited passes with no restrictions run $50 -100 more than the 7Wood passes with blackout dates.

Kirkwood does offer a way to get a discount of up to $60 on a season pass by getting friends who were not passholders last year to buy season passes, too. The first friend that purchases a pass will get you $20 off your pass, and each additional friend $10 more off. Those with 6Wood or 7Wood passes can upgrade a season pass by one level by bringing in three new passholders.
