La Rosière is famous for its unique location in the Espace San Bernardo, but the French station is not just for fans of high adrenaline skiing. This international ski area straddles the Franco-Italian border and is perfect for all sorts of snow-dusted fun.

To make its 150 kilometres of pistes accessible to everyone, La Rosière is offering several deals that give visitors the choice of how they want to enjoy the snowy peaks.

A six-day pass for the Espace San Bernardo plus seven nights' accommodation are offered for €190 per person, valid Jan. 2 to 23 or from March 20 to April 3, 2010 for €225. La Rosière hasn't forgotten that not everybody skis. That's why the resort has created a special all-inclusive deal for non-skiers. This package is designed for enthusiasts who want to enjoy the mountains in sweet tranquillity. A week of accommodation, a snowshoe promenade, three rides on the pedestrian chair lift, a guided visit of the charming station, a fitness or balneotherapy session, and a ticket to the cinema are all included in the stay. For Sunday adventurers, there's the 'Trappeur Plus' weekend where, for a day and a half, adults and teens will discover the majesty of the surrounding panoramas, mountain animals, and how to build an igloo. After a hearty meal and a convivial camp fire, the neo-explorers will hit the hay, or rather the snow, in the igloo built with their own hands. €90 is the price to live a trapper's life for a weekend.
