The fall colors are turning in the mountains and The Canyons' hiking and biking trails are still in great shape; perfect for submerging oneself in the fabulous autumn foliage that disappears under white so quickly in the Rockies. Skiing and riding won't be far behind.

The Canyons Resort has crafted two fall specials including a lodging package available at any of the three mountainside lodging properties in an effort to corral fall travelers. Special rates at The Canyons' properties - the Grand Summit Hotel, Silverado Lodge, or Sundial Lodge -  available through Nov. 8, 2009- start at $94.50 per person per night for a studio unit based on double occupancy. The package includes a $50 resort bonus cash card that can be used within the resort toward restaurant, spa, and retail, two gondola passes, and a special in-room gift.

You might need a massage even if you don't need a room this fall. The Canyons is offering some great deals on deep tissue massages or manicure/pedicure combinations to celebrate and introduce the newly remodeled Grand Summit Health Club & Spa. Relax with a 50-minute Deep Tissue massage ($90) or a manicure/pedicure combo ($70), each offered at 30 percent off their normal prices. While you are there, be sure to check out the Grand Summit Spa's new nail and skin product lines.  This offer is valid until Nov. 8, 2009.

Try The Canyons Resort Winter Playland Package for the ski season. Receive more than $500 in free amenities at The Canyons with a reservation. Choose any three of the following gifts: three-day adult lift ticket; two First Tracks passes; three-day sport equipment rental package; full-day adult or child group ski/snowboard lesson; $150 resort dining credit; 50-minute massage at the Grand Summit Spa. A minimum four-night stay is required and the package is valid Dec. 4, 2009 - April 7, 2010.
