Stratton Mountain Resort in the Green Mountains of Vermont is offering the best rates of the season on lodging for 2009-10 for guests who make reservations by Oct. 30.

The resort is offering discounts of 10 percent on holidays, 20 percent off peak weekends, and 30 percent off midweek stays.

Stratton also offers price protection, no-penalty cancellations up to 14 days before arrival (penalties apply after that), and preferred pricing on lift tickets and rentals.

Stratton also offers guests last year's prices on lift tickets and rentals when booked at the time of reservation.
