Both Mission Ridge and 49 Degrees North are running their season pass sales through October. Purchasing passes during the sales gets skiers and riders the best rates.

Mission Ridge offers a Basic or Unlimited Pass. Both are valid for day and night skiing, but the unlimited pass adds on refund protection, season gear check, and 10 hot waxes.

Basic passes cost $429 for adults, $329 for young adults and seniors, and $179 for youths. Unlimited passes run $50 more during the sale. Passes increase in price after the sale by $100-130.

All Mission Ridge passholders receive free Ski Link transportation during the season, five free lift tickets for White Pass Ski Area, and five free or $15 lift tickets (depending on dates of use) at Silver Mountain.

49 Degrees North is offering a way for season pass purchasers to split the cost over two months. Pay for half before the sale ends and the other half Nov. 15.

Adult passes are on sale for $299 and increase to $675 after the sale. Youth passes cost $229 compared to $500 after the sale. Passes are also available for masters and college students. Gold Card passes, which grant unlimited skiing or riding plus use of the Nordic Trails, are discounted by $100 during the sale. The passes are fully transferable, but only can be used by one person at a time.
