The Mountain High season pass sale is underway. Season passes are on sale throughout October, with the final day Oct. 31.

Adult passes cost $299, half the price of the regular rate. The pass pays for itself in five days of skiing or riding. Child passes cost $129 with the purchase of an adult season pass or $179 without the purchase of an adult pass.

Mountain High season passes offer unlimited skiing and riding, including holidays and nights. The passes still admit the passholder to the lifts even when the resort sells out of lift tickets.

Season passholders at Mountain High receive several benefits. Perks include a free subscription to Transworld Snowboarding, 10 percent off non-sale retail items, and 10 percent off adult ski and snowboard lessons. The season passes are also valid at the resort's North Pole Tubing Park.

Those who purchase passes during the sale will also receive two free Virtual Snow lessons for two at any Virtual Snow locations in southern California. Lessons are available for skiing or snowboarding and at all levels.

Season passes may be purchased online, by phone or mail, or in person. The season pass office is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. seven days per week.
