Winter Park offers an early season deal which means you should start to plan your winter vacation now. Stay two nights and your third night is free. Booking by Oct. 18 gets you a free commemorative 70th anniversary gift. The deal is good for the entire season, but you must book by Nov. 18.

There are some restrictions, mainly on holiday dates. The package is available all season but prices may vary depending on dates and room type. Some rates start at $59 per person, per night.

Winter Park has been completely transformed in the past few years. The new cabriolet drops you off at the base area which has shops and restaurants like the Back Bowl Soup Company and the Cheeky Monk, which is a Belgian Beer Café.

Jenn deBerge with Winter Park says the resort is even more family friendly. "We are filling a void of things we haven't had in the past," DeBerge said. She describes Winter Park as Colorado's oldest resort with the newest experience.

Brand new lodges and rental properties surround the new Winter Park base area. The Vintage Hotel is still there, though, and has been for years. DeBerge says The Vintage is very reasonably priced with basic hotel rooms, and even rooms that have kitchenettes. Call 800-472-7017 for rates at The Vintage.
