Beech Mountain's Super Saver Season Pass Sale ends Nov.1, so there still is time to pick up what the resort says is their best value. The unlimited pass costs $350 and only 200 are sold. They only can be purchased by calling the Beech Mountain Resort lift ticket office 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Season lockers also are on sale for $100. The lockers are located in the private season locker room for the best security.
Other season specials for 2009-10 are attractively priced. Mondays are designated Junior Day when youths age 13 or younger ski or ride for free. Half-price Tuesdays means adult day and twilight lift tickets are - yep - half price. On Bargain Wednesdays adult day and twilight tickets cost $25. Thursday is Ladies Day when lift tickets can be purchased for $20.
Group rates will be available starting Dec. 20, the date the resort plans to open. Groups must consist of 15 people or more to qualify. Individual lift tickets for group members are $30 for a day ticket Monday through Friday and $40 for a day ticket weekends. Night tickets are $17 Monday through Friday and $20 weekends. A group sign-up form is available online.
