Ax 3 Domaines, in the French Pyrenees, suggests getting a jump on the 2009-10 season and at the same time, saving a little money by ordering season passes on the Internet before Nov. 16, 2009.

Doing so allows clients to obtain an adult season pass for 342€ instead of the regular price of 427.50€. That is a saving of 85.50€. Children aged six to 15 will pay 240€ rather than 300€.

Even students can get in on the deal, with student season passes priced at 246€ instead of 307.50€, and students who have embarked on a long student life can take advantage of this deal, which is somewhat unusual in France where 25 tends to be the cut off age for students. Skiers aged 16 to 30 with a student card can thus obtain a discounted student pass.

The season passes are valid for the three Ax ski areas, each with its own identity: Bonascre (1400-2000 metres) has gentle runs and is ideal for discovering the joy of skiing; Le Saquet (1900-2300 metres) offers everything from ski promenades to more endeavouring exploits at its snowpark; and Les Campels (1700-2400 metres) awaits skiers needing to top off their adrenaline for a day in the powder, surrounded by wild summits.

The Ax 3 Domaines season pass can also be used at Ascou-Pailhères, a small neighbouring resort with 15 pistes.
