Greek Peak in Cortland, N.Y., has an array of 2009-10 season ski passes, but if you're planning to buy act fast because prices increase to full-season rates after Oct. 17.
Adult Season Passes cost $419 until Oct. 17, when they increase to $479; College Student Season Passes cost $209, then $319; a Super Pass for tubing or NASTAR costs $110; a Nordic pass costs $75; Rentals Passes cost $198, then $233 for kids 3-14, and $293, then $318 for adults 15 and up.
Passholders also receive various benefits, including 20 percent discount on lift tickets for a friend - limit one per day; $10 off daily non-holiday lift tickets at Gore Mountain - limit one per day; $35 off daily non-holiday lift tickets at Whiteface - lilmit one per day; $10 off midweek non-holiday lift tickets at Bear Creek; 20 percent off private lesson at Greek Peak; 15 percent off at the EMS store in Ithaca, N.Y.; and discounts on Eureka Party Tent Rentals.
The Greek Peak Ski Resort is the largest ski area in Central New York with varied terrain suitable for skiers and boarders of all skill levels. The area has 32 trails, from treed glades and cruisers to super steeps. Greek Peak boasts a 952-foot vertical and terrain serviced by six chair lifts and two carpet lifts at the base. There are terrain parks and a halfpipe, snow tubing, cross country skiing, and snowshoeing. Night skiing available on 18 trails.
