Silver Mountain runs its season pass sale through October in preparation for the winter season. Pass rates are cut up to $200 during the sale.

Adult passes cost $399 during the sale. Youth passes cost $399, and college student and senior passes cost $289.

Midweek passes valid on Monday, Thursday, and Fridays cost $219 a piece. The price after the sale increases to $39. The Midweek Pass has blackout days during holidays: Dec. 19 - Jan. 3, Jan. 16 - 18, and Feb. 13 - 15. But it is valid on Saturdays and Sundays from opening day to Dec. 18 and in the spring from Mar. 22 through closing day. Passholders also receive a $10 discount on all day in which the pass is not valid.

You can also add on extras to your season pass. A summer pass, Sunday splash sessions in the resort's water park, unlimited snow tubing, hot waxes, season bag check, locker rentsl, NASTAR, and child care club.

Silver Mountain passholders also enjoy the benefits of free admission to Silver Rapids Indoor Waterpark on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, $5 off a full day lift ticket at any Idaho resort, and five free day passes at Mission Ridge and White Pass in Washington. Additional benefits are available, too.

Season passes may be ordered online or in person. The Kellogg season pass office, located in the Gondola Village, is open Wednesdays through Sundays, 9:30 a.m. through 4 p.m.

    Save your money as they have not spent any money on this mountain in the last 5 years. Old lifts and a gondola that needs replacing has suspect operation issues. Poor management and service. Oh yea and Skiiers could care less about your stupid over hyped water park. Your marketing people just don't get it.
