Info: More Information

Boston Mills/Brandywine, between Cleveland and Akron in northern Ohio's snow belt along the south shore of Lake Erie, will be hosting its Open House Friday through Sunday, Oct. 16-18 at Boston Mills.  The Open House begins at 10 a.m. each morning and runs through the entire day.

It will be the first chance for skiers and riders to purchase Season Passes and Pick-A-Day Passes at below regular season prices.  A Pick-A-Day Pass sold for $50 less at last season's open house than the regular season price, and Season Pass savings were even larger. Adult and Junior Season Passes (5-12) offered savings of $110 each.

There will be information on Women's Snow Discovery, race programs, Freestyle Bootcamp, and all of BMBW's youth lesson programs.  The third annual Open House Rail Jam will take place Saturday.  The event is suitable for all ages with features for every freestyle talent level.  It's your only pre-season chance to hit the slopes.  Come out, throw down, and enjoy. The event is held on ice shavings, and while it's not snow. it's not plastic either.

The Buckeye Sports Center will be holding a clearance on last season's equipment and offering affordable deals on this season's new snowsports clothing and equipment.  The Ski Patrol Swap Tent will have new-to-you used equipment on sale, and, if you're looking for new gear, you may want to sell your old equipment.

The area will also be hosting chairlift rides over the weekend so that you can enjoy the colorful Ohio fall landscape from the top of the ski hill.  You can only ride up, however.  You have to walk down.

An additional bonus for all BMBW pass holders is that you receive half-off your lift ticket at any other Peak Resorts property: sister resort Mad River Mountain near Bellefontaine; Paoli Peaks in Indiana; Hidden Valley and Snow Creek in Missouri; Jack Frost/Big Boulder in Pennsylvania; Mount Snow in Vermont; and Attitash and Crotched Mountain in New Hampshire.
