More is less when it comes to season passes at Bear Creek Resort in Pennsylvania. The Unlimited Early Bird price of $535 for an unlimited adult pass is available until Oct. 31. Buy two and the Early Bird price drops to $415 each.
The Youth Unlimited Early Bird rate is $435. A twofer purchase is $340 per pass. Youth ages are 6 - 21.
The best value, depending on the size of a family, may be the Unlimited Family Pass. The cost is $1,595 if purchased by the Oct. 31 deadline.
The Off Peak Early Bird rate is $290. A purchase of two passes reduces the cost to $260 each. Off peak rates are good anytime Monday through Friday (non-holiday) and after 4 p.m., including weekends and holidays.
Bear Creek offers a guarantee on its season passes. The resort offers a two percent off reduction for each day less than the 65 day guarantee if passholders are denied a minimum of 65 potential ski or snowboard days. The best bet is just to think positively that there will be plenty of good days on the slopes and worry about percentages and reductions if the season doesn't develop to form.
