The first deadline for Big Bear season pass discounts hits Nov.15. The best value price on adult ticket is $225. The next price break deadline is Dec. 11 when the cost rises to $259.

Passholders of all types will find some new features. A new double chairlift is slated to be ready. The resort also is expanding its rental shop.

Night season pass deals also are available. Night skiing and snowboarding start Dec. 26 and continue until the resort closes for the season. Times are 4 p.m. - 9 p.m. each night.

The price break for night passes is $125 when purchased by Nov.15. Single night passes apply to Friday and Saturday nights. The choice of what night is up to the pass purchaser. Rates are $100 by Nov. 15, and $100 by Dec. 11.  

Season equipment rentals can save time and money for those who own. A ski, boot, and pole package costs $125. The ski rental package for those weighing less than 70 pounds is $100. The snowboard, boot, and binding package is $150.
