Bolton Valley, Jay Peak, Mad River Offer Triple Major Pass

The Triple Major Pass offers unlimited skiing for college students at Bolton, Jay, and Mad River. It costs $289 until Nov. 8, then increases to $419. It is available to all full-time undergraduate and graduate college students. Passes must be picked up at the season pass office, and students must show a valid college ID.

Mad River also has the Mad Card for $129 which offers three transferable day tickets good any time during the 2009-10 season, $5 off one additional full day lift ticket, 10 percent regular price adult private ski school clinics, freedom to bring a friend to a midweek private adult clinic, and 10 percent off alpine and telemark rentals and demos. Co-op shareholders pay $119 for the Mad Card. Mad Cards are sold until Dec. 15.

Mad River is selling the Family Mad Card for $179. The Family Card gives card holders free season passes for all kids under the age 12 before the end of this year, plus all the benefits of the regular Mad Card. Deadline for buying Family Mad Cards is Oct. 15.

Mad River is selling Full Season Passes as well. Adult passes cost $734 before Oct. 15, and $944 thereafter. Adult shareholder Full Season Passes cost $624, then $802. Senior passes (age 65-69) cost $401, then $461. Senior shareholder passes cost $341, then $392.

Mad River adult Value Passes, good every day except Saturday all season long with no blackouts, cost $524 before Oct. 15, then $597. Adult shareholder Value Passes cost $445, then $508. Senior passes cost $272, then $314. Senior shareholder passes cost $231, then $267.

Mad River adult Midweek Passes, good non-holiday weekdays all season long, cost $293 before Oct. 15, then $336. Shareholder passes cost $249, then $286.

Mad River 10 Year Passes cost $5,300, plus tax.

The Mad River Legend Pass for skiers 70 and over costs $149.
