Cascade Mountain, home of the Badger State's first high-speed quad, will be hosting a Ski Swap Oct. 24-25, and that's also the last day to take advantage of their 20-percent off season pass sale.

The Platinum Pass, unlimited skiing, riding and tubing and direct access to the lifts, is currently on sale for $417.75.  The regular price including tax is over $500.  The Gold Flex Card, unlimited skiing/riding with a daily eight hour lift ticket you get at ticket window, is currently $333.25 and will be over $400, including tax, after the above date.

You also can purchase the same pass for midweek - Monday through Friday - currently at $261.50.  It will go up to $310, plus tax, after Oct. 25.  A Silver Flex Card, currently $261.50 allows you one eight-hour lift ticket per week any day of the week; your choice.  It also goes up over $310 when the sale ends.  A Bronze Flex Card, now $189.75, allows you one ticket per week, Monday through Thursday, and Sunday after 5 p.m.; again, your choice.  It is $225, plus tax, regular price.  A child pass (6-12) sale price is $83.25, and it's unlimited skiing/riding and direct to lift access.

Lots of options, lots of choices, but you have less than a month to purchase a season pass for these low prices.

Cascade is a pure ski hill.  No lodging, no mint on the pillow to worry about.  The total effort is directed to skiing and riding and providing a good experience.  The 460-foot ski hill offers 27 trails, two terrain parks and two half-pipes.  Cascades bump runs are legendary.  They'll make you wish for a teenager's knees again.  Mogul Monster, with Volkswagen-sized bumps, is open to expert skiers only.  The ski area caters to all levels of skiers and riders.
