Badger Pass is offering season passes on sale throughout fall. The ski area in Yosemite National Park offers two fall sales:the early bird sale that ends Oct. 31 and a second sale that ends Dec. 20.
Passes for adults cost $229 during the early bird sale. Skiing six days pays for the pass, with the adult regular daily lift ticket at $42.
Passes for youths 13-17 years old and seniors age 65 and older cost $199 at the early bird rate. Child passes for kids ages 7-12 cost $129.
Rates for all passes will increase by $30-70 in November at the end of the early bird sale. The second sale runs Nov. 1 to Dec. 20. Rates will increase again after Dec. 21 by $33-193, depending on ages.
Badger Pass has scheduled their opening day for Dec. 18, snow conditions permitting. Lifts will run daily 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Lessons and rentals will be available for both skiing and snowboarding. Badger will also continue to offer two terrain parks.
Other winter outdoor activities include cross-country skiing on 25 miles of machine-groomed trails, snowshoeing, ice skating, and snow tubing. Backcountry ski tours are also available, including guided overnight ski trips to Glacier Point Hut.
