Paoli Peaks, in southern Indiana between Indianapolis and Louisville, Kentucky, is like an oasis in the winter for snow-starved skiers and riders in both the Hoosier and Bluegrass States.  The ski area offers a little over 300-feet of vertical and great skiing and riding terrain for the lower Midwest.  The area is open daily until 9:30 or 10 p.m., and they sprinkle in a few Midnight Madness sessions as well throughout the season.

Their unlimited season pass is now on sale through Sept. 25 for just $249.  It goes up $80 the day following and another $100 after Nov. 25.  As an added incentive, the first 500 people to purchase a season pass will receive two snow passes for each of Peak Resorts' two Ohio ski areas, Mad River Mountain and Boston Mills/Brandywine.  Season passholders also receive 50-percent off daily lift tickets at both areas as well as the following Peak Resorts ski areas:  Crotched Mountain in New Hampshire, Jack Frost/Big Boulder in Pennsylvania, and Hidden Valley and Snow Creek in Missouri.

Paoli also offers a student pass for $219, a family pass - valid for up to six family members - for $709, a senior pass (65+) is $50, Pick A Day Pass is $179, and a Midnight Pass is $119.  All of these except the senior pass will be going up in price after Sept. 25 by $85 for the student and family passes, $50 for Pick A Day, and $40 for the Midnight.  Now is the time to purchase your season pass.  They won't be getting any cheaper.
