Shanty Creek, with its three villages and two ski hills, offers a very European-like setting. The villages are all connected by trail systems and serviced by a very reliable transportation system. It's easy to get around and enjoy a great variety of terrain and scenery. The Summit Lodge, recently renovated, overlooks Lake Bellaire and the village of Mancelona.
