Le Massif de Charlevoix, a magnificent mountain on the St. Lawrence River an hour east of Quebec City, is offering an array of season passes at discount through Nov. 30. Prices increase then.

Choices include unlimited individual passes, five-day/seven-night passes, and family passes.

An Adult Unlimited Pass (18 and up) costs $699 until Nov. 30, then increases to $939. A Senior Unlimited Pass (65 and up) costs $609, then $679. A Student Unlimited Pass costs $509, then $569. A Junior Unlimited Pass (7 to 12) costs $469, then $519. A Child Unlimited Pass (6 and under) is free.

An Adult Five-Day/Seven-Night Pass costs $499, then $689. Seniors cost $379, then $509; students, $339, then $439; juniors, $279, then $369; children, free.

Unlimited Family Passes cost $1,199 for two members, then $1,669. Three members cost $1,569, then $1,869; four members, $1,699, then $1,979; five members, $1,799, then $2,079.

Passholders receive discounts at the Rossignol boutique and on rentals, at the Mer et Monts restaurant and pub, for group lessons at the Snowschool, and 25 percent discount on lift tickets at many other Quebec ski areas.

Prices are shown in Canadian dollars, so Americans planning to ski enough times at Le Massif to justify a season pass will enjoy the benefits of a favorable exchange rate.
