This year, seven Pyrenees resorts belong to the N'PY network. Just what is N'PY? It stands for the New Pyrenees, an ensemble of innovative resorts listed as the most beautiful of the area. N'Py isn't just about beauty, however.
Peyragudes, Piau-Engaly, le Domaine du Tourmalet (Barèges-la Mongie), le Pic du Midi, Luz-Ardiden, Gourette, and la Pierre Saint Martin all adhere to the N'PY philosophy. These resorts have placed a bet on their future, promising to constantly improve their winter sports offers.
The N'PY resorts hold certain values dear, such as real concern for their clients, high quality ski areas, and the efficiency of their services and equipment. The snow is for everybody at these resorts, be it beginners on the gentle pistes reserved for them or thrill seekers in the air above the new winter sports areas. For physically challenged skiiers, special facilites have been installed. Alpine skiing, Nordic skiing, telemark, snowshoes, or snowboards are all welcome in the N'PY resorts.
Concretely, these seven resorts have also adopted a ski pass recharge system: the "Télé N'Pass rechargeable." This card lets clients recharge their ski pass up to midnight the day before their trip. Some stations even allow the card to be recharged 30 minutes before hitting the pistes. During the time lapse, the information contained in the card's chip is sent to all of the ski lift terminals of the resort.
The Tele N'Pass, which can be recharged by internet or telephone, is also a hands free card-no need to take it out at each lift. Clients receive a five percent discount on pass prices by recharging on the N'PY Web site plus the card also provides information on the resorts accessibility and weather conditions.
