Val d'Isère opens its pistes Nov. 28, 2009 with the Ski Force Winter Tour, a weekend of equipment tests and activities designed to whet snow fans' appetites for the coming season. In honour of the event, the resort has also put together several package deals.
Guests can stay in an apartment (four to ten people, maximum occupancy) and take advantage of a two day ski pass to make the first tracks on Val d'Isère's 150 kilometres of pistes for €119 per person. This package also includes two half days with certified ski instructors that will be delighted to guide skiers and boarders around the ski area and of course access to the equipment tests and other events of the Ski Force Winter Tour.
Val d'Isère has put together a second package deal, this one at €175 per person. It includes two nights at one of the resort's hotels plus a two day ski pass for the Espace Killy, which includes both Val d'Isère and Tignes. Entry to the equipment tests is also included.
As part of the Ski Force Winter Tour, an evening of winter sports films will heat up the frosty air once the sun has set. What better way to get excited about a new season of winter sports?
