At Brian Head Resort, it pays to ski with a buddy and a family member—and to purchase season tickets before Nov. 1.

The southern Utah resort has posted its early-season pass rates, and several package deals can be found. While a single adult season pass goes for $499, the resort offers two passes for $859 so that ski buddies can hit the slopes together as many times as they want.

With any adult pass, the resort gives the option to add young family members who are in grades K-12 for $189 each. An individual student pass goes for $229, before the deadline. Seniors passes cost $229 and $149, for 62-69 and 70-plus respectively.

A Freedom Pass, purchased for $1,019 before the deadline, permits the pass holder to loan his or her ticket to anyone they would like.

After Nov. 1, the prices for season passes go up about 12 percent across the board. Tickets may be purchased online or by calling (866) 930-1010 ext. 200.

Brian Head also offers its Snowdough Card that can be redeemed at any cashier station around the resort. The cards come in denominations from $25 to $250. They are available at the Giant Steps Lodge Lift Ticket and Guest Services, 329 South Highway 143 in Brian Head. For a $1 charge, the card can be shipped directly to you. Also, the cards can be purchased by calling 866-930-1010 ext. 203 or emailing tana@brianhead.com.
