Big White froze their early bird season pass prices at last year's rates, and their new payment plan allows for spreading the cost across several months. The early bird prices, which have been offered since July, are available until Sept. 20 when rates increase.

Early bird rates include adult season passes at $645 CAD and youth ages 13-18 and full-time student passes at $440 CAD. Prices increase by $125-185 Sept. 21 and then again by $230-255 at the end of October.

Families of three or four can get their passes for less when they are purchased together. Adult early bird passes cost $545 CAD, and youth passes cost $370 CAD.

The new payment plan program allows skiers and snowboarders to pay for a season pass with installments over several months. Those who purchase passes on the payment plan must supply the season pass office with post-dated checks or a credit card number to be charged each month. Final payments must clear prior to Dec. 1, 2009 and pick up of the season pass.

The resort charges a $25 CAD financing fee for individual pass holders, or $75 CAD for a family. Season passes can be purchased by phone, via fax, via Internet, or in person weekdays at the Kelowna office.
