Expert skiers and riders have extra terrain this year at Telluride with full access off west Gold Hill Ridge. Gold Hill Chutes Two through Five will now be available to add more challenging, expert terrain on some steep couloirs. The ten Gold Hill Chutes have gradually opened over the past two years. Chutes Two through Five are above treeline and have a steep drop of 1,600 vertical feet. They are wide open couloirs that have long been a favorite of extreme skiers. Telluride has added two WWII-era howitzers to help control the terrain, which will open as conditions allow.

Telluride has focused on terrain expansion in their ongoing mountain improvements. The resort opened Revelation Bowl and the Revelation Lift, along with two new restaurants, in the last five years.

Season passes are on sale for a lower rate until Oct. 30. The cost for an Adult Pass at Telluride is $1,198. That pass price drops to $998 per person if you come in with four adults who purchase season passes together. The season pass at Telluride costs $1,850 after Oct. 31 through the rest of the season.

Other pass prices include the College Pass which costs $299 through Oct. 31 and then goes up to $725. A Child Pass (ages 6-12) costs $125 through the end of October and then goes up to $425. Financing is available.

Telluride also offers 6-day and 10-day passes, the Telluride Card and the Limitless Lesson Pass through the end of October.
