The Colorado Gold Pass is for sale for the 2009-10 season. This is one of those rare passes that is transferable, which means you can let your buddy use it. It's a gold medallion with a bar code on the back and it is good for 21 resorts in Colorado, including all of the Aspen-area mountains (Aspen Mountain, Aspen Highlands, Buttermilk, Snowmass), Steamboat, Copper Mountain, Durango, Telluride, Winter Park, and the "Gems" of Colorado, which are the smaller resorts.

The Gold Pass is not good for the Vail-owned resorts of Vail, Beaver Creek, Keystone, and Breckenridge.

The cost of the Gold Pass is $2,750. There are no blackout dates and it is good for unlimited skiing or riding for whoever is wearing it.

"The Colorado Gold Pass features all of the best pass-perks rolled into one: unlimited days at Colorado's best ski resorts, full transferability and direct-to-lift access," explains Melanie Mills, president and CEO of Colorado Ski Country USA. "It's a sensible option for businesses and people who want to loan it out to clients and associates, or those who want to use it themselves on a powder day."

There is a limited number of Gold Passes so jump on it quickly if you want one.
