Alpe d'Huez is kicking off the 2009/2010 winter season with a range of ski pass promotions.
Skiers can spend a Sunday on the slopes for €32,50 instead of €40,50, the usual high season price for an adult one day ski pass. The Saturday Sales (Les Promos Samedis in French) are only valid on certain Saturdays: Jan. 9, 16, and 23, 2010; March 20 and 27, 2010; April 10, 17, and 24, 2010.
The Tribe Pass is also available for skiers and boarders who come to spend a day at Alpe d'Huez with their friends. The forfait Tribu as it's called in French, offers a discount on the purchase of four or more one day adult passes.
Tribe Pass prices depend on the following dates:
From Dec. 5-11, 2009 and from April 17-25, 2010 (€27.50 per person)
From Dec. 12-18, 2009 (€31 per person)
From Dec. 19, 2009 to April 16, 2010 (€34.50 per person)
Both offers only apply to adult ski passes.
It is necessary to book through the Web site www.sataski.com. However, it is possible to wait until the last minute and order passes at latest the day before hitting the pistes.
Alpe d'Huez has already announced its opening dates for the 2009/2010 ski season: Dec. 5, 2009 to April 25, 2010.
