A variety of season passes are on sale through Oct. 31 at Jack Frost and Big Boulder, with a variety of additional perks available to pass holders at the two mountains.

The VIP Pass offers complete access to the slopes with no stopping each time at the ticket counter to pick up a day pass. The price is $629 through Oct. 31, when the price goes up $100 savings. Other passes do require holders to show their passes at the counter to receive an individual day ticket.  All passes allow complete mountain access. The Adult Unlimited Pass costs $529, the Youth Unlimited Pass (ages 7-18) costs $429 and the Senior Unlimited Pass (ages 62-69) sells for $429. All discounted prices are a $100 savings through Oct. 31.

Season pass holders also get a one-year free subscription for Transworld Snowboarding magazine or Skiing magazine, 10 percent discount at the Boulder View Tarvern, and 20 percent off retail items at Big Jack's at Jack Frost or The Basement at Big Boulder until Dec. 24. Two free snow passes or two free tubing passes, also included, can be redeemed any time during the 2009-10 season. Snow passes are day lift tickets.

Midweek passes also offer a $100 discount until Oct. 31. The Adult Midweek Pass is $408, the Youth Pass is $339, and the Senior Pass is $339. Passes are in effect Monday through Friday. Youths 6 and under and seniors 70 and older are free.

Passes must be picked up in advance. Discounts on season rentals are $150 compared to $200 after Oct. 31 and must be purchased at the same time as the season pass.
