Austria's SkiWelt region is offering savings on ski accommodation and lift ticket packages at the start and end of winter 2009-10. The Super Deals are available from when the resorts open at the beginning of the season until Dec. 20, and again from March 14 to April 5, 2010.

Prices for the Special Deals vary but all involve substantial discounts on the regular price for accommodation and lift tickets, and guests taking up the offer additionally qualify for a 35-percent reduction at selected ski schools and for ski rentals with options including a seven-night stay including a day's SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental lift ticket..

The SkiWelt has skiing for all standards, but is also the archetypal intermediates' paradise.  A circuit which links together more than 20 category red runs is available on request from ticket and tourist offices. Experts have eight black runs on the circuit to enjoy, one of the best going from the top of the Höhe Salve above neighbouring Söll down through the Leukenwald. The SkiWelt region also holds the title of having the most artificial snow covering in the country.

Add to that the fact that the SkiWelt area is part of the huge Kitzbühel regional ski pass, an alliance of ski regions offering a combined total of more than 300 lifts and around 1000 kilometres of runs, and you have unlimited skiing opportunities.
