The Spirit Mountain season pass sale is on through October, and there is a pass for just about everybody. Spirit Mountain, with its big - for the Midwest - 700-foot vertical drop, offers some of the region's premier slopes. The resort overlooks Duluth's harbor on Lake Superior and offers some of the most scenic views in the Heartland. It's big time skiing for the Great Lakes Region.
There is something to fit your schedule, no matter how much or how little you plan on skiing this season. Individual passes start at $179 plus tax and processing fee, which is applied to all season pass purchases. The introductory price is $139 If you've never been a Spirit season pass holder. College student passes are $109, but you must be a full-time student and be able to prove it.
You can even add rental equipment all season long, a corral pass to protect your equipment, and a separate Nordic pass or, in combination with your alpine pass. Children, six and under, will ski or ride for free when a parent purchases an individual adult season pass; one child per parent.
All season passes offer unlimited skiing and riding all season long with no limitations, and you get one free four-hour lift ticket to pass along to a friend or family member; valid any day during the season. Season pass holders also get special discounts in the Mountaintop Grill that are not available to the general public. The sale ends Oct. 31. Don't forget the DSAC Ski Swap held on the Mountain Oct. 23-25.
