Breckenridge started as a mining town 150 years ago. These days the town is known as the hot place to ski and ride, with four huge peaks and 2,350 acres of terrain. The snow will continue falling for still another season in this historic mining town as Breckenridge celebrates this big birthday celebration. The Peak 7 base area is new. The Peak 8 base area reconstruction is on track with Rock Resort's One Skill Hill Place opening in 2010.
