The one thing we all hate about season passes is blackout dates. Those of us who can't splurge for the all-access gold pass at our favorite slopes, are inevitably doomed to hang up the gear when the holidays roll around. Well, not any more. Magic Mountain in Londonderry, Vt. has answered our prayers with the first-ever "White-Out" Pass.

The White-Out Pass allows unlimited skiing and riding at Magic over Christmas/New Year's week, MLK Weekend and President's Week. That's up to nineteen days of boundary to boundary skiing and riding for less than $15 a day.

“When others black you out, we welcome you to ski and ride here at Magic," Magic Mountain’s President Jim Sullivan said. "I think that those who do not ski here regularly will really enjoy the diversity and excitement of our legendary terrain as well as the friendly community of Magic skiers. You don't have to forfeit Vermont holiday skiing to save money; come over to Magic and experience an authentic Vermont challenge at a place where you can kick back, relax and enjoy the holidays."

The White Out Pass is available for $249 until Nov. 27—$279 after that date.

And the best part is, there's no requirement to hold a pass elsewhere to get this deal. It's a great solution for "value" pass holders from other mountains or for those who just want to make their holidays a little whiter.
