Arizona Snowbowl is continuing their habit of maintaining the same rate for season passes for the ninth year in a row. Those who buy their passes early get a discount that pays for itself with eight days of skiing.

Adult season passes are on sale for $399. Families can also purchase $99 dependent passes for their kids ages 8-18 as long as at least one parent buys an adult pass.

College students who can show a class schedule of nine credit hours or more can buy a season pass at the pre-season sale rate for $299. Seniors ages 65-69 get the same rate. Students ages 8-18 with a school ID can get their passes for $249.

Snowbowl's season passes grant unlimited access to the slopes. No blackout dates apply. The passes also grant discounts at many Flagstaff businesses and at the resort, including purchases of retail, lessons, and food items. Passholders also receive discounts for lift tickets at Telluride, Durango Mountain, and Brian Head.

Arizona Snowbowl season pass sale launched Sept. 1 and runs through Oct. 11, 2009. The passes are available online or by mail. You also can purchase season passes at Mountain Sports Downtown (24 N. San Francisco St.) in Flagstaff Sept. 25 - 30.

Regular season pass rates go into effect after Oct. 11. Prices increase to $399 for students and seniors, $499 for college students, and $699 for adults.
