Snowy Range Ski and Recreation Area introduced a new ticket product this month. The transferable 4-Packs offer a way for skiers and riders to buy discounted lift tickets. Getting the 4-Packs just requires some prior planning.

The 4-Packs are ticket vouchers that can be redeemed for four lift tickets any time during the ski and snowboard season. The packs are transferable, which means you can share them with friends and family or give individual vouchers away as gifts.

Snowy Range put together two types of 4-Packs for this season. One allows the tickets to be used any time, including weekends and holidays. The other is for weekdays only.

The Unlimited 4-Pack, which has vouchers that are valid for holidays, weekends and midweek, costs $109. Four adult lift tickets would normally cost $156.

The Weekday Tripper 4-Pack costs $89. Its vouchers can only be redeemed Mondays through Fridays and accommodates those who like to hit the slopes minus the weekend crowds. This 4-Pack drops the cost for adults by 40 percent per day.

So what's the fine print with the 4-Packs? The vouchers are non-refundable and won't be replaced if they are lost or stolen. Also, they are not available for purchase at the resort's ticket office.

The 4-Packs can only be purchased in person. During the preseason, Snowy Range is traveling around to ski swaps and movies, especially in Wyoming and Colorado locations. The resort will be selling 4-Packs at preseason events and plans to mail the vouchers out to purchasers the week of Nov. 21, just in time for opening day on Nov. 26.

Crews at Snowy Range are hitting the road to sell the 4-Packs at special events. Find out where you can connect with them here
