Copper Offers Early Season Deals on Skiing and Lodging

Copper Mountain offers an early season getaway for the family, with a price break. But you’ll need to book by Nov. 7. That’s why the pass is called, “Impatience is a Virtue.” Pick your early dates and it will cost $75 per person/per night when you book three nights in Copper’s winter lodging. Grownups get a pair of three-day Secret Passes, and kids ski for free. The deal works out to a 44 percent savings on your early season ski vacation.

The Secret Pass is like the pass that lets you cut the lines at Disney World. You get a dedicated lift line at American Eagle, American Flyer, Super Bee, Excelerator, Kokomo, Union Creek High Speed Quad and Timberline Express. You can even get on the American Eagle 15 minutes before the lift officially opens in the morning. That’s when the groomers have done their job and the corduroy is waiting for you. Or you could use it on a layer of fresh powder.

The fine print is that you have to stay at least three nights during early season. Kids Ski Free with the purchase of the Adult Secret Passes. Type of lodging varies and is subject to availability.

Copper has a lot of big ski teams training on their slopes in the early season, so it’s always fun to check out the action and see the athletes around the village. Copper officially opens to the public Nov. 4. Snow guns will be blasting to get more terrain ready every day.
