Hidden Valley located about 30-some miles west of the Gateway City, surprisingly offers some good skiing and boarding for the lower Midwest. Over the last couple of seasons they have expanded the area to 13 runs, a couple of terrain parks, and a new snow tubing area all serviced by three chairlifts and four surface tows. Most recently they added a new quad chairlift, two new advanced runs and both an intermediate and a beginner run, and there's more terrain for a future expansions. Snowsports never looked so good below the Heartland's Mason-Dixon Line.
