Steamboat skiers and riders have been enjoying plenty of champagne powder this week along with a new chairlift, the Sunshine Express. It's Colorado's newest renewable, energy-powered chairlift, operating on wind and solar power. It zips riders up the mountain twice as fast as the old chair. One of the first chairs hosted three SmartWool reps, along with Steamboat's Director of Skiing, Billy Kidd. SmartWool is based in Steamboat and is a big supporter of the Sunshine Kids organization.
