Spanish Peaks, a private luxury resort community of custom homes and cabins adjacent to Big Sky Resort, has launched a discounted offer for this winter. The resort bundles lodging, activities and skiing on its private hill along with access to Big Sky.
The resort of Spanish Peaks operates its own private ski hill named Spirit Mountain. Its three chairlifts include one high-speed quad. More than half of the 13 runs on Spirit Mountain's 207 acres are designed for beginners.
Spanish Peaks connects to Big Sky's terrain via Spirit Mountain lifts. By taking the Lewis and Clark Lift, skiers can hop down to the base of Big Sky's Southern Comfort lift, zipping off to spend the rest of the day exploring Big Sky's runs on Andesite Mountain and Lone Peak.
This winter's package is discounted by more than 20 percent. The package is based on double occupancy and can be booked any time with availability Dec. 1 through March 15. It costs $1,296 per person.
The four-night package pairs up lodging in a Clubhouse Suite with unlimited skiing on Spirit Mountain and four lift tickets to Big Sky. The tickets can be used for two people for two days of skiing at Big Sky or be used by one person for four days. Other activities that are part of the package include complimentary cocktails with the general manager, a snowmobile tour of Yellowstone National Park, a sleigh ride dinner for two and a one-hour massage for two.
Lodging in the Clubhouse is in one of seven luxury rooms with king sized beds. Complimentary breakfasts are included, along with access to outdoor hot tubs. The dining room in the Clubhouse features tasting menus and a 1,300-bottle wine cellar, and the Saloon offers more casual fare.
