"Last year, we had overwhelming success with over 700 students participating in the program," said Boyne VP Scott McGregor. "This year we're offering season passes as an incentive for students in grades six through 12 to excel in the classroom." The program is offered to students in five nearby counties, and pass prices are based on students academic performances; a GPA 3.5 – 4.0 is free, 3.0 – 3.49 is $50, 2.5 – 2.99 is $100, and 2.0 – 2.49 is $150. Students are required to present a copy of their most recent report card and have a parent or guardian present when applying for the season pass. Good grades do count.
