New Jersey's ski resorts are looking for a banner week to help salvage what has been, shall we say, an uninspired winter of riding. Winter arriving at midwinter has been a late blessing, but while the riding has been very crowded - too few trails, too many riders - it's tough to complain. Much. Anyway, places such as Hidden Valley are celebrating the event, sandwiching slope and rail events around the week. Mountain Creek is bringing back its Winter Olympics poster boy, Danny Kass, for a rail jam Friday and Saturday.
