New Six-Pack For Pamporovo

Pamporovo ski area has announced plans to build a new six-seater high-speed detachable chairlift between the ski area and the village of Stoikite, turning this existing village into a ski resort base. The route for the lift has been cleared with trees felled to make way for towers and cables. It seems unlikely the new lift and runs could be operational for the coming winter. Local media reports say that public consultation and an environmental assessment are yet to be completed. However resort management are optimistic that the lift could be ready, and already have taken delivery of key parts of it from France. The new lift will be one of the longest built at just under 3km (two miles), and the two new runs about 5km (just over three miles) long.

got back from pamporovo on sunday and had a great time we were very lucky with the snowfall unlike the week before were it rained for 3 days, all the runs were open as were all the lifts the only problem we found is the instructors taking us to the most expensive places (£3 for a plastic bottle of coke £8 for a small pizza) at dinner time so that they could get their commission we caught on to this after the second day and decided to try some others we found that the best was the 3Lev (named so because evrything costs 3lev (£1.50)) which is an octagon type cabin just between the top station and the middle station, one more peice of advice i emplore you do NOT go to the ski instructors caberet show its 26 levs (£13) and is possibly the least proffessional "thing" i have been to, it was neither funny nor entertaining and im ussually easy to please ;) i know your saying "well its only £13 " but beleive me it was simply awful spend your money on more beer or the bulgarian bbq night thanks si

hi there i am of there again on 17th janruary and back on the 24th at the moment apparently there is 25% of runs open at the moment but viewing the webcams there seems to be more snow than there now than when i was there last year. Majority of runs were open last time with less snow. There is an approx fall of 5-6 inches of fall by this weekend and then hopefully a little more during the week. If you would like some excellent instruction for your girlfriend then i would recommend the SHOKY school of ski.£100gbp paid for my six days tuition and included ski and boot hire. I will let you have update mid week and give you a on piste eport
