Mild Weather Mucks With Illinois
Ski resorts are struggling to open as much terrain as possible for the holidays, but several warm nights have even hampered snowmaking operations. Chestnut Mountain, located near Galena, Illinois, reports that they are almost fully open and that they are waiting for increasingly cold temperatures and an approaching storm to put the capper on their season opener.
