Whistler Blackcomb Skis From Winter To Summer

Enjoy skiing and riding at Whistler Blackcomb through July. Enjoy skiing and riding at Whistler Blackcomb through July.

Whistler Blackcomb runs one of the longest ski seasons in North America. Most other resorts button up operations by April, but Whistler Blackcomb runs its lifts from winter right into spring and summer for skiing and snowboarding.

Whistler Mountain lifts run through April 26, but Blackcomb lifts keep chugging along until June 14. All lifts run 8 a.m. through 4 p.m. through April 26 with Blackcomb lifts opening in the morning at 9:30 through May 18 and 10 a.m. through June 14.

Once skiing and riding ends on Blackcomb's upper slopes, Horstman Glacier opens for summer thrills from mid-June through July. The T-bar usually runs noon to 3 p.m. for freestyle, freeride, snowboard, moguls, and race camps, but it's also open to the public to ski or ride for one or more days. Adult one-day tickets run $52 CAD while youth tickets run $45 CAD.

The resort plans to run its new Peak 2 Peak gondola for the summer, but it will only service hikers and sightseers. The gondola will access new hiking trails, and a free mountain tour will be offered daily at 11:30 a.m. Peak 2 Peak will run May 16 to Oct. 12.

Whistler Mountain also maintains over 250 kilometers of lift-accessed mountain bike trails and five skills centers and parks. Mountain bike operations run from mid-May to mid-October.
