You can turn a snow day into a true snow day at North Carolina's Sugar Mountain. Students or teachers in Avery, Ashe, Watauga, Mitchell, Carter or Johnson County whose classes are cancelled, can get a day lift ticket for only $14. That's a $25 savings over the normal full-day lift ticket which costs $39.
