Info: More Information

Zermatt's ski season is the only one that continues year-round, open every day so long as the weather isn't too bad.

The resort boasts Europe's highest ski runs, now with Europe's highest restaurant next to them and also has Switzerland's longest ski run at 22 km (14 miles) and wide carving runs to mogul fields galore.

The resort's skiing area in winter reaches as far as Bella Italia with 313km (196 miles) of ski runs and currently the resort has some of the deepest snow ion the world with over seven metres (23 feet) on its glacier slopes.

So it's extra good news that a special offer is available for anyone arriving in the famous resort up to April 17 this season.

There are in fact a full range of specials in all types of accommodation from self catering accommodation up to luxury five-star hotels and for different durations too. However all offer a substantial discount on buying accommodation and ski pass separately.

Snow package 1 includes five nights in a hotel including breakfast, a four-day international ski pass, a free entrance to the Matterhorn Museum, and is for arrivals Monday, departing Saturday. Snow package 2 is for six nights in a hotel including breakfast, a five-day international skipass, a free entrance to the Matterhorn Museum, and is for arrivals Sunday, departures Saturday. Snow Package 3 is for seven nights in a hotel including breakfast or in an apartment without meals and includes a six-day international skipass, a free entrance to the Matterhorn Museum, and is for Saturday to Saturday stays.

Half-board and single rooms are available at a supplement and discounts for children are available. Reservations must be made online.

Prices range from 392 Euros for snow package 1 in a basic hotel to 1,577 Euros for snow package 3 in a luxury five-star hotel.
