Snow King Resort winds up its ski and snowboard season and preps for switching to summer season.

The resort's ski and snowboard season finishes March 29 with Snow King's lifts closing at 8 p.m. Tubing and ice skating also button up winter operation that day. During the last week of operations, skiers can still get deals on lift tickets: half-price tickets on Tuesdays and two-for-one tickets on Saturday night.

The ski hill shuts down operation at the end of March, but not Snow King Resort Hotel. Accommodations in the resort hotel and adjacent Love Ridge Condos run year-round. Summer lodging packages include whitewater rafting, horseback riding, scenic chairlift rides, golf, theater, and more.

Outside activities at Snow King resume for summer starting May 23. Scenic chairlift rides head to the top of Snow King Mountain for eagle-eye views of Jackson Hole with a backdrop of the Tetons and clear-day views up to Yellowstone National Park. The double chairlift equipped with a safety bar for rider security climbs to 7,751 feet in 20 minutes.

Other summer activities on the slopes include the alpine slide, which runs 2,500 feet long, and the 18-hole alpine mini-golf course. Horseback riding tours also follow trails climbing up Snow King Mountain.

Call Snow King Resort for information on summer activities and for lodging reservations at 800- 522-KING or 800- 522-5464.
